How to install Mobilink on Ubuntu


On January 4, 2024, Mobilink released its Ubuntu version, which supports Ubuntu 22.04 and later.

The following will detail how to install and run Mobilink on Ubuntu.

System requirements: Ubuntu 22.0 64-bit or later versions.

Mobilink utilizes VLC libraries for video playback, necessitating the installation of VLC and its libraries on Ubuntu. Enter the following commands in the terminal to install VLC and its dependencies:

sudo apt-get install vlc
sudo apt-get install libvlc-dev

Next, download Mobilink's Ubuntu version from your browser. Once the download is complete, locate the deb installation package, named mobilink-1.0.6-16_amd64.deb, in your Downloads directory.


In the file manager, double-click on this file to open the installation interface:


Click the "Install" button in the top right corner and wait for the installation to complete.

If the installation interface does not appear, you can use the command line for installation. Open a terminal window and navigate to the Downloads directory:

cd Downloads
sudo dpkg -i mobilink-1.0.6-16_amd64.deb

After the installation is complete, you will find the Mobilink icon in the list of applications.


Double-click the Mobilink application icon to launch it.
